Polar Pantry was born in 2017 out of a desire to reconnect people with the food grown and crafted in their own communities. Founder Amelia Sinclair, a nutritionist and advocate for sustainable living, saw firsthand the growing demand for fresh, local alternatives to mass-produced grocery store goods. Inspired by visits to farmers' markets and conversations with small-scale producers across Canada, Amelia envisioned a space that would celebrate local food and make it more accessible to everyone.
